K-ON! fangirling + reflections[?]
And I bring to you, another song with a weird title, from K-On! As well as my personal reflections. :D
The Video
I love this song. I really do. XDXDXD For one thing, Mio singing [Long, black haired girl]

It's just so cute! Especially the Fu Fus. XD
So, what basically happens in that small part. Yui [the short hair girl] left her guitar in her house, the day she was supposed to have a concert, so she ran back to her house to get it back. However, the show must start, so the rest of her teammates starts the song while she runs back to get her guitar. Meanwhile, her teacher stand in place of her.
As she is taking her things, she takes to reflect about how she as changed as such.
The translation of the words she said, [starting from when she was running by the roadside]
"Come to think of it, I ran on this road on the day of the entrance ceremony. I was thinking about something I had to do. Wondering what I should do. And worrying whether I would go on to become a adult like this."
"Hey me, Me from that time, you don't have to be worried. You will soon find it, Something I can do. Something I can concentrate on. Precious, Precious, A precious place for me!"
It's kinda funny, but I felt really touched after I saw that.
Firstly, because, even though Yui is such a klutz, but you can see that she's trying really hard to get back to school on time. Normal people would have just gave up, after all, the guitar's at home, and by the time she went and came back, their performance would have already ended. However, she continued to run and do her best, never giving up, and she got back in time for the second song. I really admire her attitude. Not many people could have done what she had done. I wouldn't have. Many people would have fallen into the deep, dark hole of despair, but she continued to be cheerful, and ran all the way home and back.
Secondly, because Yui is so happy go lucky and nonchalant about things, she had never participated in any clubs [Or CCAs, in our terms. :D]. She joined the band, thinking that she could get away with playing cymbals. In other words, she knew NOTHING about playing in a band. However, she was willing to learn, and she finally found a place which was important to her.
A place where she was willing to go miles for.
Because she had friends and wonderful memories there.
And this is'nt the most touching part.
Let's link it back to real life.
For us SLs, most of us decided to join SLB because we thought that it was cool, much like how Yui decided to join the band.
However, as we continue to be in the Board, many of us found many great friends, great Seniors, and cute Juniors. And also had many wonderful memories, both good and bad, about SLB.
For many of us, it could be said that we have found our own special place that we can belong.
Similar to how Yui found her place on the band.
Who knows that animes can be so deep? :D
And I havent even started on the lyrics of the song. XD I'll do a review of that another time, once I get the english translation of it. Part of the song aren't translated yet. Arrrr....
