Choir workshop
Choir workshop was.... contradicting....

What do I mean by that?

For one thing, I personally thought that we were very soft, lack of confidence, lack of dynamics, and we went out of tune too. Seriously, our conductor was giving us this evil smile as he was conducting.

However, then all the condutors were giving comments, except for or conductor. Lets start with conductor number one

Conductor number one: *Gotten from sherry's blog*

Xinmin Secondary. Uh. Very solid. Um. Very solid very assured very composed. Um. I thought I thought I thought you're probably one of the few choirs that I could actually really hear the, the chords, you know. In this very dry hall. Um, I thought it was great... balance was great, balance was really good. Um. Music wise, now that with this foundation, you might want to just let the song express itself a little bit more. I felt, I think that you were a little too careful. Too careful, therefore good pitching, good chords, good sound; but careful, therefore did not express yourself as much as I would love to. Yah, but I, all in all I thought it was pretty solid.

My comments:

WTH?! Solid? Assured? Composed? Are you SURE you are talkin about US? O>O

And pitching. Our conductor almost killed us three days ago for not getting the pitching right, NOT to say about the balance. And you say that the pitching was very good?
O>O And OMG good sound. O>O Are you positively sure that we have a good sound?

Second conductor:

Xinmin Choir, I felt that your Hungarian song was slightly stronger than, than Itsuki. Your Hungarian song, I could feel... I don't know what you're singing about, but then I could feel that, I could feel the mood you were trying to bring across. And, and that lah, you know, your chords, your sound is really quite intact. Actually quite a nice sound. Very relaxed, you don't feel like, you don't feel like you, by the time you shout all the way... Quite good. And Itsuki, I think, you need to know what you're singing about. Then you can really yah... 'Cos I think right now, you're still skimming the surface of the song. This, this, means that you have, maybe, go deeper, you know, into the depth of the song. A bit more. Yah.

My comments:

She could feel the mood we were tryin to bring across? LOLS. I hardly knew what I was tryin to bring across while I was singing. I was just thinking: Must smile, must breathe properly, must reach high notes, CANNOT go out of tune, must be louder/ softer etc etc. And she could hear the mood we were tryin to bring? O>O

And we were relaxed? O>O

Again, nice sound and good pitching.

Total comments:

Not that I'm not happy with the comments, but REALLY, some of the things they say are.... unbelievable. At least I didnt feel that way. >.>

I still find critisism the best. More natural. LOLS.
